Chu Qi. Attended Company's Lo Hei lunch at Yunnan Restaurant at Fairway Club.

Prepared double-boiled superior birdnest with ginko nuts and lotus seeds for my mother-in-law who is still warded at Changi General Hospital. Birdnest... is her fave. Usually, I double-boiled birdnest with American gingseng for her but bcos she is on IV antibiotic, I substitute with ginko nuts and lotus seed. Ginko nut is brain food. hee...

Her right feet looks bad to me (there is a foul smell from her wounds) and she placed a piece of tissue paper over her wound (she denied doing it) and her left feet is starting to show the same symptom...

OMG.... some people got the cheek to leave notes like (I quote): today my mother "cook" barley water for Ah ma. My father also buy two bananas for Ah ma. Ah ma ate half pork pao. There is still one pork pao left, please check if she wants to eat later..... unquote. Make me puke!!!

Please lah...why treat her so nice now??? Eyeing her "biscuit tin" is it???? Anyway, she cannot remember if she had eaten birdnest or cha siew pao...pork pao....tau sa pao...tua pao or chicken pao!!!!! She cannot even remember my girl's name!

FYI, my dear mother-in-law is suffering from early stage of Alzheimer (lau ren chi tai). Treat her nice when she is well.... why start to leave notes??? She and no one esle can vouch for the written notes!!!

During her good days, my mother-in-law is a meticulous person. Her cooking was superb!! Especially her nasi lamak... mee siam and curry prawn with eggs.... and many more !!! Yummy!!! We missed her cooking..... sigh...

I was at the hair salon before CNY and over heard another customer saying that she will invest in a good rocking chair when she retires. She is in the nursing line and read an article claiming that rocking chair helps to prevent alzheimer. You know lah... i started to get kay po and asked if it works. She replied "Of course. you see most old ang-mo has a rocking chair". I don't know how true but we can start saving for our rocking chair!! hee.... Another method is to play mahjong lor. This game keeps your brain working....ban zi... sok zi...ping hu...zi mo...bei pan...ang tiong and HUAT ah!!! That's why I invested in online "Mahjong Match" ahhahahah..... So, treat me nice now... don't leave notes !!

Btw, I had taken a pix of her infected leg but have no idea how to post it in my blog... Anyone wants to help this lau-cha-bo???? Please contact me lehhhhh....please.....please.....

Her Royal Highness

"SEN DI JIAN KANG"

Chu Si. omg...Her Royal Highness (my mother-in-law lah) had to be admitted for "rash weeping" ????? you might ask "what's that" ??? errrr....for the past few weeks, her right ankle is swollen and probably she scratched and the wound is badly infected and "juice" is oozing out from her wound. According to my sis-in-law, last night, it was so bad that she had to use 2 pieces of kotek to wrap around the wound. This morning they brought her to the GP and found that the 2 pieces of kotek were soaked through... lime juice anyone??

so....she is now getting medical attention at Changi General Hospital. Probably she will stay at the resort for a couple of days. Ohhh.. pray she don't attack the tissue from the rest of the patients or the tissue dispenser at the sink. FYI, she likes to fold tissue paper.... that's one of her current hobby. hee...

"XIN XIANG SHI CHEN...WAN SI RU YI"

Chu san. Doctors still celebrating CNY..so my poor old darling will have to endure his giddiness! He is putting up a very brave front....Each time he said he is giddy...i get my panick attack but die die must be brave also lor....take a few deep breathe and smile.....

Wow....my place is packed with my siblings and nephews...neices and grand nieces !!!
The little ones jumped and ran wildly...(my old heart almost stopped ticking!!) they even pretended to be doggie...crawling on their "paws"! hahahah...

Then came a koala bear....my grand neice. She clings to her parents like koala clinging to their mama. Took her awhile to socialise... that's her style. A very pretty mei mei...no a princess....no no its koala bear, hee.... her parents going to kill me!

GREAT NEWS!!! Today, Koala bear had made "friend" with Lau Sui Gu. So today ends the koala bear saga! ...er...hopefuly then all of us will have some share when Lau Sui Gu strike 4D !!! Hahahahha...you guys better keep your fingers and toes crossed !! (say our prayers..."All Mighty Lord Buddha, please let us have some Xtra cash")

GONG XI FAI CAI !!!
Today, is chu er and as usual, for donkey years.... my family visited my siblings... For the children, cny means meeting their "CAI SEN YE" and counting the crispy notes at the end of the day!!

Today, I said the most prayers while in the car.. "Oh Mighty Lord Buddha, please bless us" My old darling (hubby) suddenly had giddy spell and he had to apply emergency brake and slowly keep to the last lane!!! Of course some road user will blast their honks and my old darling had to hand signal to say "sorry". OMG!!! very drama lei....God blessed... we reached all our destinations safely!! Btw, I had to tell the two pretty sotongs seating at the rear seat to buckle up. I doubt they were aware of whats happening...they were enjoying the music...

Today, I had this inspirations to blog after my girl told me of nasi kang-kang. Well... she helped me to create this page. Frankly, i am an IT idiot but its better to be late than never. I thought of using "sweechabor" or "lauswee" but cannot leh... so sad. I hope to add pix in the near future... if she wants to help me lor! Ahhhhh...I need camera and cables to add pix???? alamak... so IT lor...

Yesterday, i get to meet my nephew with his crew cut. Last month, he was enlisted in NS. Wow !!! he looks cool leh...but not so cool when he glue himself to his buku or pc game... like lost in his own world. He is the biggest bookworm among his cousins.
